Indo Thai Airport Management Services, a joint venture by Dhoot Group, will be providing ground handling services to Vistara airlines. The contract was officially sealed through an agreement signed between the two parties in Delhi. Indo Thai is presently managing the ground handling services at various airports including Srinagar, Amritsar, Lucknow, Agra, Chandigarh, Varanasi, Udaipur and Jaipur.

Pawan Kumar Dhoot, Dhoot Group Promoter, said,” The aviation sector is growing at a rapid pace. In a competitive scenario, efficient service is emerging as one of the biggest differentiators. This is precisely why the domestic as well as international airlines are considering outsourcing their ground-handling services to expert operators like us.” He elaborated that as of now the company serves various domestic and international airlines like Air Arabia, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Spice Jet, Go Air. Air Costa and Jet Airways and has plans of working across various other popular airports.
Indo Thai Airport Management Services is essentially a joint venture between Dhoot Group and the Airports Ground Services (TAGS). It was selected by Vistara to manage the ground handling services after a thorough technical and capability audit. Ground-handling contract is the first of its kind by any domestic airline in India. Indo Thai is one of the few companies in India to have qualified technically for grant of license by Airports Authority of India for offering its ground-handling services to various airlines. The license has been provided for a period of 15 years and the total commercial value of the contract is valued at around Rs 750 crores.
