Jagmohan Garg Times of Hope Have Now Begun on Rekha Gupta Becoming the CM of Delhi

Jag Mohan Garg, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Tirupati Infraprojects, extends heartiest congratulations to Rekha Gupta on becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi. He anticipates this victory as a new beginning of never-ending development in the capital and an onset of a promising future. Gupta is not only BJP’s second woman leader to hold the post, but she’s also the fourth woman Chief Minister of Delhi. Sworn in on February 20th, 2025, in a prestigious oath taking ceremony at Ramlila Maidan, Rekha Gupta is being celebrated by the country as a new beacon of hope.

“It’s not just a personal win for Rekha Gupta ji, or Bhartiya Janta Party alone, but the victory collectively belongs to the capital who’ll now witness a period of promising and sustainable growth under the new leadership,” says Jag Mohan Garg who’s optimistic about the capital’s future in the coming years in all aspects. This is the first BJP led government in the national capital in 27 years and people of Delhi are keenly looking forward to the upcoming changes that’ll be introduced by the new government. By promoting Rekha Gupta as the CM, the party is also putting forth a powerful message to encourage more women to step into leadership roles. Which is why Gupta is not just a woman CM, but an icon who women can look up to in the coming years. Her passion, dedication and perseverance will inspire women across generations and encourage them to be decision makers of their respective fields as well.

Rekha Gupta is already standing up to the promise of progress and development. Very soon after becoming the CM, she has already taken initiatives to revolutionise the growth of capital. She intends to tackle five major issues within the very first 100 days of her tenure and promises to show visible results. From the rollout of Ayushman Bharat medical insurance scheme to cleaning of Yamuna river, sanitation plans, road repairs, women empowerment schemes – the list is endless. While monsoons are perceived to be the season of joy, one cannot deny the repercussions brought upon by heavy rains to the common public. Rekha Gupta also has rolled out initiatives to tackle that beforehand. She has discussed implementation of de-silting of roads and sewers in preparation for the monsoon season. With all these measures, she intends to solve all the unaddressed issues pertaining in the capital.

Jag Mohan Garg, the visionary leader of Tirupati Infraprojects appreciates all the work being put in by the CM for the development of the city. He acknowledges the challenges that can be brought upon once you become a leader, but believes that with the right vision, they can all be overcome. He appreciates the measures being introduced by the CM for women empowerment in the city as well. Rekha Gupta has confirmed the rollout of a major welfare scheme for women – “Mahila Samriddhi Yojana”. As a part of this scheme, a monthly assistance of 2500 INR will be provided to eligible women in the capital. This is a powerful initiative to build a strong community of women and to support them in their journey not just by words, but in actions as well. By working on financial empowerment for women, this will also unlock various other doors of growth and development for them.

Other applause-worthy measures by the chief minister include schemes for security of gig workers. Rekha Gupta has formed a committee for gig workers’ welfare schemes and has promised 10 lakh insurance to them as well. With her measures, she aims to provide them more social security, something they did not have access to, before. Her other plans include the development of Yamuna riverfront, creation of 50,000 jobs and 20 lakh self-employment opportunities.

Celebrating all that Rekha Gupta is planning and taking initiatives for, Jag Mohan Garg is hopeful about the new times we are stepping into. During the 2010 Commonwealth Games, he established Tirupati Infraprojects. As a part of the project he stood up to the commitment of launching Radisson Blu Hotel to meet India’s rising demand of hosting the games and providing world class hospitality to the athletes. Such entrepreneurs who stand up to their words marked by prompt execution of plans are rare to find. Thus, he concludes, “I think times of hope have now begun. Nothing can stop the capital from attaining outstanding progress and development anymore.”
