Beijing ByteDance Technology Co Ltd (ByteDance), the well-known Chinese Internet technology company operating a number of machine learning-enabled content platforms and the owner of TikTok app, has appointed Sameer Singh as its Vice President, Monetisation (India). Serving as the CEO– South Asia at GroupM, Singh has quit the position to join ByteDance.
As the Vice President of ByteDance, Singh will be working closely with the company’s partners and clients, along with leading the advertising, sales and marketing strategies across all of ByteDance’s products in India.
“I am truly excited to join ByteDance, which is one of the fastest growing global technology companies spearheading innovation in the mobile space. In India, ByteDance has transformed the way people create and interact with their content, and I believe that my experience will contribute to ByteDance’s promising journey in this market,” Singh said.
As per the sources, Sameer Singh has a rich professional expertise. Before GroupM, he has worked in different countries including India, China, USA, UK and West Asia.
