IIT-JEE Advanced results to be announced tomorrow, tension among students rises

The results for IIT – JEE (Advanced) are likely to be released by IIT Kanpur on Sunday. The website jeeadv.nic.in will demonstrate the results along with the all-India-ranking of the candidates.

However, the exact time of declaration has not yet been revealed by IIT Kanpur. The only development in this case for the candidates is to keep a close check on the official website.

According to the reports, both the scores and ranking will be released together on the website.

Here are excerpts from students regarding the result tomorrow:

Rohit Parashar (17), an aspirant from Bihar, said, “Though I have already done my assessment using the answer keys, I am still anxious before the results are announced. I have been preparing for IIT-JEE for the last two years. I hope to get a good rank.” Parashar mentioned that his institute of choice will depend on the marks he scores.

Another student, Yashi Agarwal, who scored 92.4% in CBSE Class 12 board examination this year, said, “I always knew what I had to do. I had my feet firmly grounded. I have always dreamt of being an IITian. I’ve worked really hard for the last two years to fulfil my dream. I have to just clear my JEE Advanced to be where I want to be.” She aspires to become a computer science engineer after her B.tech.

With around 40,000 students Kota itself and a total of 160,000 students clearing the mains and proceeding to Advanced, the fight is likely to be tough. It is only tomorrow that will tell who makes it to their dream institute.

The countdown has already begun!!
