RBL Bank and India’s digital healthcare platform – Practo, have partnered to launch India’s first health-focused credit card, powered by Mastercard. The card will be available on both, Practo’s and RBL’s mobile apps and websites from today onwards.

“This card gives a unique ability to consumers to use their regular spends for household expenses for subsidizing their monthly health spends on Practo platform.” said Tarun Bhambra, VP & Business Head, Practo.

Those who will opt for the health credit card, they will be able to consult with doctors online 24*7. Through this facility, they will be able to able to connect to experienced and well-qualified doctors whenever they will need them.

It is always advised that instead of self-diagnosis or advice from friends, you should always consult a medical practitioner’s advice. The card will not only bring doctors to you through online modes, but there are also other benefits with this health credit card.

With this card, you will have online consultation of doctors 24*7 for a year, one-time free full-body health check-up. You will also earn 1 Practo HealthCash for every Rs. One hundred spent on this card. You will be able to use HealthCash while availing Practo services such as online consultation, medical tests, etc.

“Healthcare is a largely untapped segment and this partnership will be a great opportunity for the Bank and Practo to leverage on each other’s strength to capture the market and offer customers a one-of-a-kind health card with exciting offers.” Said Harjeet Toor, Head – Retail, Inclusion & Rural Businesses, RBL Bank.

It is expected that the Indian digital healthcare market will reach around $372 billion by 2022. At present, Practo is the only digital platform which is always users to manage their health needs end-to-end.
