Launching the new rugged watch, Garmin India is expanding its product portfolio with debuting another fitness watch. Already ruling the market with their smartwatches, Apple, and Galaxy will prove to be tough contenders. But what makes Garmin stand out is its fitness-oriented approach.

Garmin introduced fitness trackers were the need of the hour, which the company capitalized. The watch is designed for more rugged outdoor activites, a feature that was missing in the earlier range of delicate watches. The smartwatches are designed to handle extreme conditions for extended periods.
Created on the layout of Garmin’s previously launched Fenix range, Instinct comes with features that makes it a preferable choice for sports, and mobile activites, such as hiking. It is more tough, and scratch resistant than any other previous models.
The watch can be synced with your phone, and you will be able to access Garmin Connect (an online fitness community for automatic uploads) live tracking, and the Group Track features. Ali Rizvi, National Sales Manager of Garmin India, says, “India is a very important market for Garmin and holds a great potential for the lifestyle segment. We are excited to introduce Instinct as its India’s first Lifestyle watch for the people who wish to have an approachable smartwatch that is rugged and reliable. Built on US military standard 810G for thermal, shock and water resistance, the watch holds all the technologically advanced features for the people who loves to explore outdoor experiences.”
The instinct will be available at stores which are Garmin authorized, along with selected online portals.
