Subhash kapoor composed Mata ka email is gathering appreciation

It is very common to hear the bhent Mata ka email in every second jagrata or kirtan after its release. The lyrics of upcoming movie Guddu Rangeela, are the composition of Director Subhash Kapoor himself who tried his hand at writing a song for the first time. The song is usual to be seen and heard in the trailer of movie itself.

The director cum lyricist cum music composer Subhash Kapoor is happy to receive such a heartwarming response from the audience who is appreciating the song. Guddu Rangeela is a presentation of Fox Star Studios under the production of Sangeeta Ahir which is ready to hit the theatres in July.

When asked for the inspiration behind the song, ‘growing up in Delhi and having access to these kind of songs’ was an innocent reply from the artist. He mentioned that his childhood memories gave birth to Mata ka email which aptly suits the characters of Guddu and Rangeela being portrayed by Amit Sadh and Arshad Warsi respectively.

Guddu and Rangeela, sings in Mata ki Chowki and earns out of the same, be it by stealing from the chowki organizer’s home or honestly earning with the singing part. The movie somehow shows the issues related to khap panchayat with an essential touch of action in this Comedy & Drama of Bollywood. Other actors apart from Arshad and Amit are Aditi Rao Hydari, Ronit Roy, Sandeep Goyat, Shriswara and others.

Subhash Kapoor did a thorough research on mata ka email and auditioned local folk singers across Rohtak, Haryana to give the song a raw and desi feeling.

Subhash Kapoor started his career with Say Salaam India and further gave comic satires like Phas Gaye Re Obama and Jolly LLB to the industry in 2010 and 2013 respectively.
