Uflex ltd. to exhibit Holographic Thermal Lamination Film at Drupa’16

Indian flexible packaging giant, Uflex Ltd. is all set to display Thermal Lamination Films at the Mega exhibition Drupa. The event will be held at Dusseldorf, Germany from 31st May to 10th June 2016. Thermal Lamination Film is also known as the hot lamination or thermal glued film. The extrusion coated surface of the Thermal lamination films having low temperature melting resin enables the lamination of film to paper board by heat and pressure.

 Mr. Ashok Chaturvedi, Chairman and Managing Director of Uflex Group stated that, “Uflex is the first company in India which has successfully produced holographic thermal lamination film. It is yet another benchmark of success established by the company. ” Talking about the exhibition, Mr. Chaturvedi said that, “It is a great platform for the companies to display their state-of-the-art technologies and products. Such events should be organized time and again to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of the companies like Uflex.”

Holographic thermal lamination films are available in Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) and Bi-axially Oriented Poly Propylene (BOPP) variants in varied generalised and customized designs. Ease of lamination on paper board makes the thermal films very unique as this film does not leave spots on the substrate, which otherwise are quite visible in the dry lamination process.

The customised thermal holographic film efficiently combats counterfeiting while the various general holographic patterns help brand owners in printing and lamination Industry enhance the product packaging shelf appeal e.g. book cover, carton lamination; greeting cards lamination, wedding cards etc.
