K Raheja Corp featured in ‘Top 100 India’s Best Companies to Work For’ for the third consecutive time, ranked at 64th position

K Raheja Corp, one of Mumbai’s real estate development companies has been featured amongst the ‘Top 100 Companies to Work For – 2018’. Led by Chandru Raheja, it is the only real estate company to have achieved a position higher than its contemporaries. The company has secured 64th position in the list, which makes it one of the finest companies to work for, in India.

K Rheja Corp, which started operations about 60 years ago, has always given all due importance to its employees. The company’s ideology revolves around – ‘people are a company’s greatest asset and competitive advantage’, and thus, the award is a well-deserved one.

Drifting from the conventional outlook, which highlights standard policies when it comes to real estate companies, K Raheja Corp’s employee policies match the ones set by some of the leading companies globally. The company converges all its policies on work-life balance and equal opportunities for all employees. Parenting assistance, health and overall well-being are also taken care of.

Urvi Aradhva, Chief Human Resource Officer, K Raheja Corp, on receiving the award, said, “, “It is humbling and an honor to be recognized in our efforts of creating a workplace that is inclusive and growth-oriented. We have always put our people first and look forward to continuing to create for them a place of work and brand that they are proud to be associated with. For our team, this acknowledgement works as a big encouragement, while providing an opportunity to benchmark ourselves with the best in business.”

K Raheja Corp was started as a family-run business, and eventually grew into a professionally-run company. Under the able guidance of Chandru Raheja, it began transforming Mumbai’s real estate sector. In the last six decades, the company has made a significant impact and attained commendable success.

Pertaining to international standards, the real estate giant has been delivering state-of-the-art residential and commercial spaces to its customers. The constructions by K Raheja Corp fall under the Gold and Platinum categories and have also received numerous awards.

Another major initiative that the company has been focusing on is green building practices. Back in 2007, K Raheja Corp also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CII-Green Building Council to construct green buildings.

With a holistic development and growth approach, Chandru Raheja has been concentrating on sustainable growth of the organization. Not only their building practices, but also their human resource are paid attention to by the company at every step.

The listing of K Raheja Corp in the ‘Top 100 Companies to Work For – 2018’, itself is a reflection of employee-centric policies that makes a huge impact on any company’s global standing. What’s more interesting to see is the approach other real estate companies will take in order to create more opportunities for their employees, and if the market expands to a comprehensive development approach, rather than a unidimensional one.
