Mark Hoplamazian

Mark Samuel Hoplamazian or Mark Hoplamazian is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Hyatt Hotels Corporation since November 2006. He is also a member of the VF Corporation Board of Directors along with serving on the Advisory Board of Facing History and Ourselves, the Council on the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the Board of Directors of New Schools for Chicago and of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and the Board of trustees of the Aspen Institute and of the Latin School of Chicago.

A member of the World Travel & Tourism Council and the Commercial Club of Chicago and Discovery Class of the Henry Crown Fellowship. He has worked as a Financial Analyst, Summer Associate, Associate, VP and President (in chronological order) for multiple organizations prior to joining the Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

Mark Hoplamazian did his BA from Harvard College in 1985 and MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1989. He is married and has three daughters.
