Billi Mausi is a character inspired by South Delhi aunty who prefers her holidaying in Paris, then Bangkok, she prefers accessories of Coco Chanel and gifts Versace bags to her helpers, she prefers jets over cars. Hash!! She revives south Delhi charm through her character, Yass!!! We are talking about our new sensation Kusha Kapila.

The social media sensation has more than 1, 50,000 followers on Instagram, and we bet this hadn’t taken didn’t take ages. Not many know that before stepping onto the journey as a social media entertainer, she was working as a full-time journalist for Times Internet.

Her articles which revolved around travelling, feminism and celebrities are worth reading, and gives a hint of her dynamic abilities.

But much has happened during the last 12 months when Kusha along with Sunita and Shibani started posting their videos on iDiva’s YouTube channel. The neo-generation loved it!  So much, in fact, that Kusha Kapila didn’t take much time to knock the doors of Bollywood.

In few recently posted a video on her Instagram Page, Kusha has been seen hanging around with Badshah, Kiara Advani, and even the “sensational-hottie-oozing -heartthrob-and-what-not Ranveer Singh.”

According to inside gossip, few of the directors are planning to even cast Kusha in their movies.

Some Lesser Known Facts About Kusha Kapila

Best known for her fictional character “Billi Maasi”, social media sensation Kushha Kapila, is largely celebrated by the young Indian millennials. She was brought up in North Delhi and graduated from Indraprastha College for Women and National Institute for Fashion Technology. Kapila always aspired to become a journalist and grew up watching Barkha Dutt on TV who had a lasting impact on her.

From a fashion writer to chancing upon iDiva where she worked as a writer, her career skyrocketed when she started creating the South Delhi girl video series. From then on, Kapila has never looked back. Her contents, mostly intended to inspire women, cover topics on body positivity, self-love, sexism and feminism. She has also shared camera with several Bollywood celebrities like Abhishek Bachhan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranveer Singh. Hailing from Delhi, the personas she creates for her videos are mostly inspired by the women from part of the city she grew up in.

The internet diva is currently married to Zorawar Ahluwalia, based in Gurgaon, whom she met at a friend’s wedding. Kapila constantly credits her husband to have had a major hand in her mental health growth and personality transformation and claims to have changed her for the better.
